What to expect

Taking the first step towards therapy can be difficult, but we are here for you.

Therapy can be both short term and long term work.

Short term therapy can help with current issues you are experiencing, whilst longer term therapy helps address underlying problems in order to facilitate long term change. Therapy should never make you dependent, but independent so that you recognise the internal resources within you.

Therapy is not an ordinary appointment - consistency and commitment to appointments are very important.

Each session is 50-minutes long, on a weekly basis.  Therapy that works is based on the quality of the relationship between the client and therapist, that must be founded upon confidentiality, non-judgmental and warmth.

01

Contact us

The first step is to contact us. It is always helpful that you reflect on and write down what your needs and presenting difficulties are beforehand.

02

Have an initial phone consultation

We will offer you a free consultation call to discuss your needs and see if we are the right fit for you. We can then put you in touch with the therapist most suitable for you.

03

Your first session

You will arrange your first session with your therapist. Therapy is a very human process, so you will need to feel comfortable with your therapist in order be able to reap the benefits of therapy.
